Costa Fina Now Open in Creekside Park

By  |

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Costa Fina Latin Coastal Kitchen, an upscale yet casual, Latin-inspired concept with a coastal twist, has opened in Creekside Park West, located in Creekside Park Village Center. It represents the newest restaurant concept by the Orioli Restaurant Group, according to co-owner Enrique Orioli.

“Our family is a beautiful mix of Italian and Latin culture,” Orioli said. “My grandmother (Nonna Elda) and my grandfather, Domenico, were born and raised in Italy but met and married in South America after World War II. Our Italian restaurant concepts are successfully operating with the recipes my Nonna Elda brought with her from Italy. Now, we are excited to share our Latin roots with the vibrant flavors of the Pan American stretch with the same level of quality and excellence you’ve come to expect from us.”

After three decades of owning and operating a hotel and several restaurants in a northern coastal town of Venezuela, the couple decided to shift their focus to the restaurant industry and relocated to Houston in 2000.

“We look forward to sharing our roots with guests in a comfortable, relaxed environment with the same level of exceptional service that Orioli family restaurants have become known for,” Orioli said.

Costa Fina offers a unique culinary experience that combines modern techniques with a Latin-coastal influence. Guests can expect to embark on a journey across Latin America as they indulge in high quality Latin cuisine.

All food is scratch-made with an array of imported ingredients like Choclo from Peru, and Morita and Puya chiles from Mexico. Braised meats are just some of the several outstanding dishes on the menu that include Cabrito – a dish of guajillo marinated braised cabrito, with pico de gallo, cilantro lime rice, pickled red onions, crispy Brussels sprouts, and marbled potatoes. The Borrego Enmolado is a braised lamb shank topped with a mint mole, and served with cilantro lime rice and sautéed quelites.

Another exciting feature is a mouth-watering Chile Relleno – a poblano pepper stuffed with wild mushrooms, Oaxaca cheese, salsa de chipotle entomatada, epazote, and pico de gallo. Seafood features include Scallop Tiradito – cold water ocean scallops, leche de tigre (Peruvian citrus marinade) cilantro oil, fresh red chilies, beet and pomegranate pearls.

Orioli continued, “Costa Fina’s cuisine, interior look and feel is inspired by the Latin culture. Think casual fine-dining surrounded by tropical and festive palettes through different design expressions. The restaurant will also have intimate private dining spaces, and an inviting outdoor area.”

The bar is stocked with a diverse wine collection and expertly-crafted cocktails, while the extensive selection of tequila, mezcal, and rum elevates the experience even further.

Happy Hour is Monday-Friday 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. in the bar and on the patio with $2 off frozen margaritas, wines by the glass, craft cocktails, draft beer, and appetizers.

Costa Fina Latin Coastal Kitchen represents the fifth prestigious dining establishment in The Woodlands to be opened by local restaurateur Enrique Orioli and his family-owned and operated restaurant group. Orioli’s other four restaurants include the newly opened Azzurro Italian Coastal Cuisine in Hughes Landing, Marcoza Trattoria in Creekside Park, Terra Vino Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar on Research Forest, and the award-winning Via Emilia Italian Restaurant in the Village of Indian Springs.

Creekside Park West is located at 26543 Kuykendahl Rd., just south of Creekside Forest Drive. Costa Fina is open Monday – Thursday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 – 10:30 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.
