Elevated Fire Danger in Montgomery County
The US National Weather Service Houston-Galveston is reporting an elevated fire danger in Montgomery County on Tuesday, October 17.
The elevated fire danger is possible this afternoon as relative humidities fall below 30%. Sunny skies and northeast winds are expected across the region today as highs rise into the upper 70’s to near 80.
This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Southeast Texas. Today and Tonight low relative humidities and dry conditions may result in elevated fire weather concerns this afternoon and evening.
From Wednesday through Monday a few strong thunderstorms will be possible across the region on
Saturday with the threat for strong to severe thunderstorms continuing into Sunday as a cold front moves into the region.
