The Uresti’s youngest daughter Taylor, was diagnosed with Pre-B cell leukemia at 4 ½ years old on August 2010. In December of 2012, two and a half years after diagnosis, Taylor’s cancer was in remission, and she continues to live a happy and healthy life today. The Urestis then decided to create a unique event in The Woodlands while bringing awareness to pediatric cancer and raising funds for an important cause.

Eric Uresti, Executive Director of the Uresti Giving Foundation, shared an update after the event stating, “Friends, together we raised twice as much as our initial fundraising goal, and even surpassed last years totals. Attendance was a record high, and you helped exceed expectations on every metric. Such great memories! Such great fun! Such a great cause! Thank you every one of you!
