Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber to celebrate “Noche Latina” at upcoming Houston Dash Game
The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber (MCHC) is excited to announce that it has been chosen to be recognized as the Non-Profit of the Match at an upcoming Houston Dash game. The evening is part of the Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, the event “Noche Latina” is taking place at the Houston Dash vs. Seattle Reign game on Saturday, September 21.
“We are thrilled to celebrate with the Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber as the Non-Profit of the Match during the halftime recognition. We hope to see as many of our friends and fans from the North Houston/Montgomery County area that night,” said Marcos Hernandez, Group Sales Account Executive for the Houston Dynamo FC/Houston Dash.
In addition to enjoying an evening with fellow soccer fans and chambers members and guests, $4 from each ticket sold will go back to MCHC. Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latino history and culture. Every year from September 15 to October 15 recognition is given and celebrated to the many contributions made to the history and culture of the United States. Hispanic Heritage Month honors the resilience and determination of the Hispanic community. Key Independence Days celebrated within Hispanic Heritage Month include Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua all on September 15. Other Independence days during Hispanic Heritage Month are Mexico (Sept. 16), Chile (Sept. 18) and Belize (Sept. 21).
