Hispanic Heritage Month is a month-long celebration of Hispanic and Latino history and culture. Every year from September 15 to October 15 recognition is given and celebrated to the many contributions made to the history and culture of the United States. Hispanic Heritage Month honors the resilience and determination of the Hispanic community. Key Independence Days celebrated within Hispanic Heritage Month include Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, and Nicaragua all on September 15. Other Independence days during Hispanic Heritage Month are Mexico (Sept. 16), Chile (Sept. 18) and Belize (Sept. 21).

“I believe Hispanic Heritage Month is a vital celebration of the rich culture, history, and contributions of the Hispanic community. It’s not only an opportunity to honor the legacy of those who came before us, but also a time to recognize the impact we continue to make in shaping the future of our communities. By celebrating our heritage, we inspire unity, foster understanding, and build a stronger foundation for the next generation of Hispanic leaders and entrepreneurs,” says Lopez.
