November Events at CityPlace Springwoods Village

HOUSTON, TX – The season of giving thanks also means fantastic weather for family friendly events this November at north Houston’s CityPlace, the best-in-class urban mixed-use district anchoring Springwoods Village.

Activities around the CityPlace Plaza – 1200 Lake Plaza Drive, Spring, TX 77389 – include a visit from two favorite Frozen characters, photography workshops presented by Houston Center of Photography, live music, and introducing a new fitness series with popular fitness class, Fit4Mom.

The safety and well-being of all visitors is a top priority for CityPlace. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing with suggested spacing as well as wear masks as appropriate for the activity.

Children’s Storytime. There may not be any snow to build a snowman in Texas, but there will be plenty of magic with two of Disney’s favorite characters at a “Frozen” themed Children’s Storytime on Thursday, November 12, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. After sharing their favorite stories, both will pose for photos. Children are encouraged to dress as their favorite “Frozen” character for the occasion.

Photography Workshops. Smile! Fine-tune your photography skills with Houston Center for Photography Workshops. The complimentary Saturday series continues on November 14 and 28 at 10:00 a.m. and will provide participants tips and tricks to amplify their images through elements such as composition and lighting. No prior experience is required, but participants must bring a camera. Reservations are required. Click here to sign up.

Sunday Strolls. Master the day of rest routine with Sunday Strolls on the Plaza on November 1 and 15 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with live music and lawn games such as giant Jenga, cornhole, and more. Pick up to-go items from several CityPlace dining options and enjoy the evening. Admission is free.

Fit4Mom. Enjoy the cool fresh air while preparing your body for the feasts to come with several Fitness on the Plaza events. New this month, the popular Fit4Mom brings their signature Stroller Barre class, a 60-minute cardio and strength interval class designed to improve posture, stability, and mobility. This workout combines moves inspired by barre, ballet, Pilates, fitness, and yoga to help you regain your posture and alignment and strengthen your body from the inside out – to the plaza every Wednesday, beginning November 4 at 9:30 a.m. First class is complimentary with memberships available online.

Camp Gladiator. Camp Gladiator offers a 60-minute cardio and strength classes each week on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. Your first session is complimentary, and packages are available for ongoing participation. Every Saturday at 10:00 a.m., do not miss instructor Kristin Hart as she leads a complimentary session of yoga.
