Prioritizing Your Health and Lung Cancer Prevention: Nov. 30 Virtual Event

THE WOODLANDS, TX – Houston Methodist Cancer Center at The Woodlands will host an online event from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30 discussing the importance of lung cancer screening.

Keynote speaker, Hammad Qureshi, MD, and medical panel participant, Mohammad Khalil, MD, will share expert insight on topics including lung cancer screening information and eligibility, smoking cessation education, and services and treatments available for early to late stage lung cancers.

Khalil is a board-certified hematologist and medical oncologist at Houston Methodist Cancer Center at The Woodlands. Qureshi is a board-certified pulmonologist and the medical director of the intensive care unit (ICU) at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

Preventative screenings are crucial in the early detection of cancer because timely treatment is vital for a positive outcome. This is a perfect season to focus on you and prioritize your health.
