This initiative celebrates the community’s 50-year legacy, integrating landscaping, infrastructure and public art into a unified design at one of The Woodlands’ most prominent intersections. A special feature is the “First Fifty” Anniversary Sculpture, a 5-foot-wide, 50-foot-diameter weathering steel art piece, symbolizing the community’s history and natural beauty. The sculpture is 100% donor-funded and represents residential villages as trees, embodying themes of people, belonging, time, and the native forest.

Project Highlights:

  • Comprehensive Intersection Enhancements: This project includes full-scale improvements to the entire intersection, incorporating landscaping, infrastructure, lighting, and public art to create a cohesive and visually appealing upgrade.
  • Landscape & Greenery: Installation of 400-plus additional trees, along with an upgraded irrigation system and landscaping.
  • Hardscape Upgrades: Enhanced lighting, stone planter walls, and erosion remediation across 8 acres of landscape. Decorative concrete and masonry walls to refine the visual appeal of the area.
