Montgomery County Go Red For Women Luncheon (May 19)

Join us for the Montgomery County Go Red For Women Luncheon on Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott & Convention Center! The Go Red for Women experience continues to be the cornerstone of the Go Red for Women movement in local communities. This empowering gathering focuses on preventing heart disease and stroke, shares stories of people impacted by this issue and raises critically needed funds to support research and education initiatives. Great American Songbook: The Golden Years free performance by Texas Repertory Theatre Co. (May 19 & 20)

City Place will host the Texas Repertory Theatre Co. for a free two-night run of Great American Songbook: The Golden Years with a live jazz band and two complimentary drinks per person age 21 and up while supplies last. The performance runs 7:30-9:30 pm both evenings. Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day is designed to encourage regular car commuters to try out their bikes as an option for commuting to and from work. Refreshments and information about bike commuting will be provided at Northshore Park between 6:30 and 9:00 am. Handbell Concert

Houston Chamber Ringers invite you to their inaugural concert as Artists-in-Residence at Lone Star College-Tomball. They are masters at this uniquely beautiful and complex instrument, and have been delighting audiences with their artistic and whimsical performances for the past ten years. Bike The Woodlands Day Festival

Bike The Woodlands Day will feature exhibitors including local bike shops, bicycle clubs and other supporters of Bike Month at Northshore Park from 9:00 am - noon. The event will feature maintenance demonstrations, bike safety information, children’s activities, a kids’ bike rodeo, food trucks, live music and more. Attendees are encouraged to bike to the event! The first 250 bikers will receive a free Kona Ice snow cone. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. Learn More

Kickstands up, helmets on, get your bike ride on at Bike-a-palooza! Celebrate May Bike Month by bringing your family to join in a wide variety of events, including a youth bike rodeo, guided bike rides along paved and natural surface trails, a mountain bike skills course, safety talks, mechanics demos, outreach booths, and more! Water Lantern Festival (May 27)

The Water Lantern Festival offers a stunning launch to summer over Memorial Day Weekend. The memorable evening includes food trucks, live music and the opportunity for guests to design and send off their LED candle-lit lanterns into the City Place main pond, where they will float among hundreds of others in this dazzling display. Memorial Day in The Woodlands (May 28)

Celebrate the official start to summer at the annual Memorial Day in The Woodlands festival! The event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving the United States. The festival features live music, children’s activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park from 5 to 9 p.m. The evening concludes with a dazzling fireworks display choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack.
