The communication towers will play a critical role in emergency situations for The Woodlands Fire Department, allowing for reliable communications throughout a disaster. The communication towers will provide a dependable communication link that is typically not affected by construction or power outages. Currently, a communications tower is in place at Central Fire Station and has been in use since its construction in 2013.

The communication towers will enhance their ability to maintain digital communications and keep our residents safe.”

The towers will range from 115 to 150 feet in height. The projected construction time for each tower is 45 days. For more information on The Woodlands Township, please call 281-210-3800 or visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov.
