The Woodlands Township Board announces official election results

THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS (November 17, 2017) – The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a special meeting on Friday, November 17, 2017, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard.

The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Regular Agenda:

• Received a briefing on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors officer nomination process for the election of Board officers that will take place at the Wednesday, November 29, 2017 meeting;
• Approved canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Directors Election held within The Woodlands Township on November 7, 2017, and the adoption of an Order in connection therewith. The Board reported 5,090 votes cast in the recent election of three (3) directors of the Township: Position 5, John P. McMullan, 3,256 votes; Position 6, Ann K. Snyder, 3,470 votes; and Position 7, Laura Fillault, 2,214 votes and Carol Stromatt 2,700 votes.

The Board declared the winners as:

John P. McMullan – Position 5
Ann K. Snyder – Position 6
Carol Stromatt – Position 7
