World Habitat Day Market Street 2021

The celebration will highlight a global movement emphasizing the right for everyone to a safe place to call home. At the event walls will be built by volunteers and Habitat Staff that will later be used as the framework for a home constructed in Habitat Montgomery County’s Cedar Creek community in Conroe.

After the walls are complete, the community will be invited to sign encouraging messages and blessings for the family soon to occupy the home. Learn about the many opportunities to contribute to the Habitat MCTX organization though volunteering, sponsoring, or sharing information. Younger family members can enjoy face painters, yard games and a balloon artist as part of the event.

World Habitat Day at Market Street is sponsored by Market Street, Entergy, McCoy’s Building Supply and Ovintiv. For every dollar raised during the week of World Habitat Day, Ovinitv will match it dollar for dollar up to $5,000. At 4:30 pm the walls will be transported to Cedar Creek community to be part of a new home for a family.
