2023 Christmas Event Announces Major Expansion

NEW CANEY, TX – Monty Galland, CEO of Big Rivers Waterpark and Adventures, has announced a partnership with Dasher Lighting to co-produce “Christmas Lights and Winter Lights.” The combined efforts will showcase professional lighting displays programed to music and enhance the Park’s Christmas activities planned for the month-long event.

Mr. Galland stated, “We are very excited to join forces with Dasher Lighting and create what will be the premiere Christmas Event in the entire Houston area.”

Guests will have multiple Christmas activities to enjoy both inside and outside of the 85 acre park this year. The event will feature a walk-through Christmas light show and Festival with Santa inside the park and a drive through Christmas light show with miles of lights programed to music outside the park. Guests of the Festival will the walk-through light show and Santa visits. Additional activities and amusement rides will also be available during the event.

Jon Prebish, COO for Dasher Lighting is excited about the partnership. “We have our entire team all fired up and designing the biggest show we have ever planned. It will be something everyone with want to see.”

Ticket prices will start at $10 per person for each experience. Multiple ticket options and packages will be available online and at the park entrance.

Big Rivers and Dashers will begin operations Friday November 24th and continue through New Years Eve.

Big Rivers Waterpark season passholders get free admission to the Walk-through show and Festival.
