30 Years of Serving Thanksgiving Meals

By  |

On Wednesday, November 22nd, The Woodlands Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., volunteered once again with Meals on Wheels of Montgomery County. For the past 30 years, on the day before Thanksgiving, the local chapter of Jack and Jill has delivered hot and frozen meals to local in-bound Woodlands residents on behalf of Meals on Wheels volunteers.

The Woodlands Chapter provides this service, so Meals on Wheels volunteers can spend time with their own families and prepare for the holiday. Jack and Jill happily serves each year in gratitude for the great work Meals on Wheels of Montgomery Count provides  for our community. This year, 61 children and 66 adults delivered 380 meals to those in need.
