By  |

Project Beacon is pleased to announce its annual Birdies for Beacon Golf Tournament, taking place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. This premier fundraising event will bring together community leaders, corporate partners, and golf enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition and meaningful impact, all in support of adults with autism and other neurodiversities.

The tournament will feature an 18-hole, four-player scramble, welcoming golfers of all skill levels. Participants will enjoy a full day of activities beginning with pre-game contests, including putting and pitching competitions, along with access to the driving range and putting green to warm up before tee-off.

Throughout the day, players will be treated to lunch, unlimited soft drinks, and domestic beer. Following the tournament, guests will gather for a buffet dinner, awards ceremony, raffle, and live auction featuring exciting prizes and exclusive experiences.

A highlight of this year’s event will be our Inclusive Greens Adaptive Golf Experience, providing our client participants and guests with an opportunity to learn more about the game of golf. This interactive component reflects Project Beacon’s mission to create inclusive opportunities for adults with autism and other neurodiversities to thrive in all areas of life.

“Birdies for Beacon is more than just a golf tournament, it’s a day where our community comes together to champion inclusion, celebrate abilities, and directly impact the lives of the individuals we serve.” -Kelly Baughman, Executive Director

Proceeds from the tournament will support Project Beacon’s programs and services designed to empower adults with autism and other neurodiverse conditions through vocational training, life skills development, social engagement, and community integration.

Sponsorship opportunities and team registrations are now available. Community members and businesses are encouraged to participate, sponsor a team, or contribute auction and raffle items.
