By  |

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, five Woodlands Christian student-athletes signed their letters of intent to play at the next level. They join eight others from Warrior Athletics who signed this school year previously, representing an impressive 15 percent of the class of 2026.

These athletes found success through hard work and dedication, as well as the support of faculty, coaches, and parents who shaped their paths through mentorship and development.

Icelynn Ayers, a 2-year letterman for the Warrior basketball program, signed to play at Palm Beach Atlantic. Her hours, days, and months of effort rehabbing her injury to get back on the court were inspiring. She played in every district game, helping lead the team to the school’s first Girls Basketball District Championship, and won 80% of the games she played in this year.

Holden Caltabiano is a 1-year letterman who will continue his basketball career at Colorado School of Mines. Every obstacle thrown his way, he attacked with relentless effort, driven by his work ethic and competitiveness.

Jackson Day is a 1-year letterman for the Warrior basketball program, signing to play for the University of St. Thomas. His mindset every day is to be better, and he pursues this goal with toughness, leadership, and a competitive spirit.

Jack Janiszewski is a 2-year letterman for the Warrior baseball program who will continue his baseball career at the University of St. Thomas. He is a student of strong character who has made a lasting impact on the program in his two years at TWCA.

Jeremiah McCranie is a 1-year letterman for the Warrior baseball program, signing to play ball at Hardin-Simmons University. He works extremely hard, leads the right way, and represents Warrior athletics with pride.

Warrior Nation would like to congratulate these athletes for their efforts on and off the field.
