The Woodlands Township celebrates Labor Day at Waterway Square on Sunday, Sept. 6

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of music, family fun and fireworks! Join The Woodlands Township for a festive celebration of Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 6, 2026, at Waterway Square. This free community event will feature live music by Shake Down Band HTX, engaging children’s activities, strolling entertainers and a spectacular fireworks display to close out the evening (weather permitting).

The Labor Day Celebration will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2026 at 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place.

A highlight of the celebration will be the always popular pie-eating contests, sponsored by Lankford’s Burgers, open to both youth and adults. Contest registration will be available on site only, and space is limited. Early arrival is strongly recommended for those wishing to participate.

• 5 p.m. Live Music by Shake Down Band HTX (Variety)
• 6 p.m. Youth Pie-Eating Contest
• 7 p.m. Adult Pie-Eating Contest
• 8:55 p.m. FIREWORKS*

A beverage booth will be available to purchase a variety of beverages. Attendees are encouraged to patronize local restaurants before or after the event. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Please note, glass is prohibited.
