Art Enthusiasts dash for a cause at TWAC’s Art Dash Party

By  |

The Woodlands Arts Council celebrated 20 years of making art matter at the Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy, on Friday, April 11. As a dynamic prelude to The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival (held April 11, 12 and 13), the evening united artists and art enthusiasts at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel to dash for a cause.

The Art Dash Party was co-chaired by Haley Garcia and Cindy Heiser who led the program along with hosts Nick Wolda and Nelda Blair. The party’s guests experienced the adrenaline of the 60-Second Art Dash, where ticket holders quickly claimed an original art piece donated by the festival’s VIP fine artists. The event featured a live auction, gourmet bites, beverages, and live music, creating the perfect atmosphere for mingling, networking, and community. Artwork by The Woodlands Arts Council’s one-time commemorative $20,000 scholarship recipient, Matthew Yu, was also on display at the event.

Funds raised at the Art Dash Party from the live auction and ticket sales will go to benefit The Woodlands Arts Council’s Student Art Scholarship Program.
