Bar Bludorn The Woodlands opens on September 26
On September 26, 2026, Bludorn Hospitality Group (BHG) debuts Bar Bludorn The Woodlands at 25 Waterway Avenue. The opening marks the group’s inaugural restaurant outside of Central Houston and the first expansion of Bar Bludorn, their quintessential neighborhood tavern concept that originated in Memorial in 2024.
Bar Bludorn The Woodlands builds on the spirit of its original Houston location while offering a distinctive take on the menu and new additions to the experience like a private dining room and outdoor patio seating. Guests can expect Bar Bludorn signatures alongside new dishes from chef Aaron Bludorn, inspired by American bistro dining and infused with Texas touches. The space, designed by Gensler, brings forward the same warm, welcoming character of the original location while establishing its own sense of identity for The Woodlands.
“Expanding beyond Central Houston is a big step for us, and Howard Hughes Communities has been a great partner to take it with,” said Aaron Bludorn, chef and partner of Bludorn Hospitality Group. “We are excited to introduce a menu and experience that reflects The Woodlands while still delivering the same Houston-inspired hospitality our guests know from Bar Bludorn in Memorial.”
Bar Bludorn The Woodlands joins Bludorn Hospitality Group’s Texas-based family of restaurants founded by chef Aaron Bludorn alongside partners Cherif Mbodji and Victoria Pappas Bludorn in 2020. The trio operates a growing portfolio of concepts including their flagship restaurant, Bludorn, as well as Navy Blue, Bar Bludorn, Perseid in Hotel Saint Augustine, and a forthcoming San Antonio project. Each BHG restaurant embodies its own distinct identity, with flavors inspired by the Gulf Coast and Texas’s rich cultural diversity at its core.
