Christmas Events in The Woodlands Area 2022
Festive events are happening all season long in The Woodlands area! From breakfast with Santa, to festivals and sing-alongs, there are plenty of events and activities to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

November – December 24, 2022 – Festival of Lights at Woodlands Church – Experience the joy of the season with your family at The Festival of Lights at Woodlands Church! This free outdoor holiday experience includes a walkthrough light display show, music, and a family-friendly live performance for all ages. November – December 24, 2022 – Pictures with Santa at Market Street – Santa Claus himself will be greeting children of all ages as Market Street continues the much-loved holiday tradition of photos with Santa. Children can have their photos taken with jolly ol’ St. Nick beginning Saturday, November 19th through Saturday, December 24th 2022. Santa Claus will greet young guests at Market Street this year in a beautiful, festive setting located next to Hemline in Suite 1010. Reservations must be made in advance. Learn More
November – December 24, 2022 – Pictures with Santa at The Woodlands Mall – Santa Claus is in town! Visit The Woodlands Mall for pictures with Santa and capture this Christmas in pictures. There are also pet dates and sensory-friendly dates available. Learn More
November – January 7, 2023 – Giant Gingerbread Village – Since debuting three years ago, the Giant Gingerbread Village has welcomed thousands of guests down a gumdrop, lollipop and candy-cane-lined path – guarded by two giant gingerbread men – to a raised clearing featuring cookie trees, a 16-foot-high gingerbread house and 12-foot windmill. The free, Insta-worthy attraction will be on display through the first week of January, along with the 35-foot glimmering Christmas tree rising from City Place Park’s main pond. Learn More

November – December 31, 2022 – Market Street in Lights – Watch as Market Street’s 70-foot Christmas tree and surrounding twinkle lights perform to holiday favorites. The synchronized light show performs every hour on the half hour from 5:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Learn More
November – December 24, 2022 – Pictures with Santa in Old Town Spring – Santa, Mrs. Claus and the Elf have been thrilling kids of all ages for over 20 years in Old Town Spring. Santa sits in a HUGE Chippendale Chair in the beautifully decorated Santa Express house. All the kids get a candy cane after their visit, telling Santa what they have on their Christmas Lists. Letters to Santa are hung on the walls, so he won’t forget the wishes. Photos are processed on-site and are ready for pickup shortly, take your own, or opt for digital delivery. Learn More
November 2022 – January 16, 2023 – The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center – Glide into the magic of the holiday season at The Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center! December 1, 2022 – Holly Jolly Jingle – Holly Jolly Jingle is a celebration of sound, an exciting of the spirit, a hello-ing of the holidays. With holiday music everywhere you look and listen provided by students from all over Conroe ISD, there’s no way you could leave without being in the Christmas spirit. December 2, 2022 – Stock the Sleigh Celebration – Montgomery County Food Bank’s Stock The Sleigh holiday food drive is the perfect way to teach your kids about giving back this holiday season! Donate nonperishable food via the drive-thru drop-off line and then park to enjoy the festivities! There will be free photos with Santa, tours of the Food Bank’s warehouse, sweet treats, children’s choir performances, arts & crafts, a tree lighting, and more! December 2 & 16, 2022 – Holiday Karaoke & Sing-Alongs – Christmas carols and holiday classics are in full swing this month during a duo of Holiday Karaoke & Sing-Alongs taking place from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at City Place Plaza. December 3, 2022 – It’s Snowing at The Butler House – Join The Butler House for the annual “It’s Snowing at The Butler House” complete with SNOW! This year, there will be two seatings. December 3, 2022 – Deck the Depot – Celebrate the holiday season at Deck the Depot from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm as the Tomball Depot Plaza is turned into a Christmas wonderland filled with live music, choirs and vendors, a train ride, kids’ zone, and more. December 3, 2022 – The Magic of Christmas Parade of Lights – On the first Saturday of December, the Greater Magnolia Parkway Chamber of Commerce hosts a parade down the local streets of Magnolia to inspire the spirit of Christmas. The Parade of Lights is a wonderful community event, held at Nichols Sawmill Rd. and Unity Park from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Learn More
December 3, 2022 – Light Up the Park – Light Up the Park is one of Montgomery’s cherished holiday traditions. Santa is available for photos, children can write letters to the North Pole, join together in song, and so much more! Montgomery’s beloved Cedar Brake Park is a magical setting of lights and decorations, made possible by our businesses and residents who decorate the light poles in ways that look fantastic by day and wondrous by night. December 3, 4, 10, 11, 2022 – Visit Santa at Dewberry Farm – There is no admission fee to enter the Dewberry Farm during its Christmas Tree Season. All guests are welcome to walk around the farm, visit with Santa, and purchase a cut-your-own Christmas tree. Learn More
December 3, 2022 – Holiday Jingle Jam – The Holiday Jingle Jam rings in a lineup of live holiday music from the popular Houston band The Fab 5 starting at 7:00 pm at City Place Plaza. Learn More
December 3, 2022 – Old Fashioned Christmas Festival – Step back to a simpler time at the 9th Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Market featuring 50 vendors along 8 acres of history decorated like the early 1900s. The event includes kids choirs, food trucks, historical craft stations, Santa, shopping, and more for only $5 and a non-perishable food item for admission. All craft stations are free. December 8, 2022 – The Sing-Off – A cappella groups will be competing with holiday-themed performances followed by the naming of “The Sing-Off Champion” from 6:00 – 8:30 pm in Central Park. December 8, 2022 – Holiday Art Walk – Stroll from The Westin to Town Green Park exploring The Woodlands Art Council’s new art benches in this one-mile walk beginning at 7:00 pm.
