Celebrate Independence Day at these local events featuring fireworks, live music, parades, family-friendly activities, and more!

June 24, 2023 – City of Shenandoah’s Independence Celebration – Shenandoah residents are invited to come celebrate our nation’s birthday with fun, food and fellowship. There will be Kona Ice, hot dogs, face painters, balloon artists, stilt walkers, a train, popcorn, bubbles, and a dunking booth! The celebration will be held from 10:00 am to  noon at City Park, 801 Maplewood Drive, Shenandoah, TX 77381. Learn More

June 25, 2023 – The Woodlands Concert Band’s Annual Patriotic Concert – The Woodlands Concert Band will perform its annual “I Love America XXII: Long May She Wave” patriotic concert, Sunday, June 25, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Christ Church Methodist, 6363 Research Forest Dr., The Woodlands, Texas 77381. Wear your favorite patriotic attire! Veterans and their families will be recognized and honored. Admission is free. Learn More

July 1, 2023 – Conroe Stars and Stripes Celebration – Join the fun in Downtown Conroe at the 2nd annual Conroe Stars & Stripes Celebration featuring food trucks, vendors, kids activities, inflatables, live music & fireworks! July 1, 2023 – Freedom Fest – Join the City of Montgomery to celebrate Independence with a parade, kids zone and vendors galore. The Anything But a Trailer Parade is FUN for the whole family! July 3, 2023 – Star-Spangled Salute – This Woodlands tradition gets ready to soar once more! Join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for the Star-Spangled Salute, a Free Event with the Houston Symphony with lots of pre-concert fun on Monday, July 3, 2023. July 4, 2023 – Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza – Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area. Learn More

July 4, 2023 – Fourth of July Parade at Town Green Park – Put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade beginning at 9:00 am. The 1.3-mile parade around The Woodlands features marching bands, fire engines, clowns, floats and more! Learn More

July 4, 2023 – Red, Hot & Pool – The Woodlands’ Red, Hot & Pool, presented by Kroger, will take place from 10 am. until 6 pm. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Each pool in The Woodlands will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). Daily fees will apply for residents and non-residents. Entry is free for season pool pass holders. Learn More

July 4, 2022 – Oak Ridge 4th of July 4 Celebration & Car Show – Oak Ridge North will be celebrating a patriotic Hometown Fourth of July with a morning parade followed by a Party In The Park at Marilyn Edgar Park. July 4, 2023 – City of Tomball’s July 4th Celebration & Street Fest – Celebrate July 4th with the family at Tomball’s July 4th celebration on Business Highway 249 just north of FM 2920. Enjoy live music, food, and one of the biggest fireworks shows in Houston. Free admission and parking. Business Highway 249 north of FM 2920 behind Kroger will shut down for the annual celebration as the street fills with live music, food, vendors, a kids zone and a giant aerial fireworks display beginning at 9:30 p.m. Learn More
