June 26

Shenandoah’s Independence Day Celebration – Shenandoah residents are invited to come celebrate our nation’s birthday with fun, food and fellowship. There will be Kona Ice, face painters, balloon artists, stilt walkers, a kiddie train, popcorn, and a dunking booth! Learn More


 

July 1

Shadow Puppet Theatre: Reading of Fourth of July Mice – The Woodlands Children’s Museum presents Shadow Puppet Theatre featuring Fourth of July Mice by Bethany Roberts at 11:00 a.m. Enjoy this tale of holiday celebration as the mice take part in a day filled with patriotic fun including a picnic and a fireworks display. Shadow Puppet Theatre is an introduction to storytelling elements that allows our readers and audience to interact directly with each other, children of all ages are enchanted with the animated shadows. July 2

Storybook Theatre: Reading of Apple Pie 4th of July – Learn about a Chinese American girl who can’t understand why her parents are cooking Chinese food to sell in their store on this American holiday. She learns an important lesson in time for watching the fireworks and eating apple pie! The Woodlands Children’s Museum will be presenting Apple Pie 4th of July by Janet S. Wong at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2nd. Storybook Theatre combines your favorite childhood books with songs, rhymes and fingerplays which are meant to promote early literacy and enhance language development. Learn More


 

July 3

Stars at Night: A Salute to Service – Kick off America’s birthday celebration and pay homage to our local service heroes at Stars at Night: A Salute to Service. The Pavilion welcomes The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra to the Main Stage, Saturday, July 3 at 8:00 p.m. This free Independence Eve pops spectacular features the Woodlands Symphony in a selection of patriotic favorites. The event will also recognize service stars (teachers, first responders, medical teams and front line workers) during the pandemic. Tickets are not required for this event. THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS – Kick off America’s birthday celebration at Star-Spangled Salute as the Houston Symphony takes the Main Stage, Tuesday, July 3 at 8 p.m. This free Independence Eve spectacular, which has been a tradition at The Pavilion for 28 years, features the Houston Symphony in a selection of patriotic favorites, presented by The Howard Hughes Corporation. Tickets are not required for this event. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Stars at Night: A Salute to Service

Stars, Stripes & Symphony – The Conroe Symphony Orchestra presents a free patriotic concert, Stars, Stripes & Symphony, on July 3 at 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Place in downtown Conroe. Guest artist Harvey Dunn of PaintJam will accompany the orchestra with a special artistic tribute to Independence Day. The concert also includes a Super Hero Cape Parade for kids and a tribute to the Armed Forces. Learn More


Freedom Fest in Montgomery – Celebrate freedom and independence in historic Montgomery Saturday, July 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a parade, kids zone, vendors, and more. Learn More

South Montgomery County 4th of July Parade – Join spectators along the 1.3-mile Stars & Stripes Forever parade route through Market Street and celebrate with floats including color guard, elected officials and dignitaries, fire engines, and the most military of any parade in the region. July 4

Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza – Join The Woodlands Township for the 24th Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza on Sunday, July 4 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Celebrate freedom in The Woodlands with great food, live entertainment and family fun at multiple locations around The Woodlands! The event culminates with one of the largest fireworks displays in the Greater Houston area. All sites will feature live music beginning at 6:00 p.m. with bands playing until the Fireworks Extravaganza at approximately 9:30 p.m. Learn More

Magnolia’s July 4 Parade & Celebration – Come celebrate the 4th of July in Unity Park at The City of Magnolia’s July 4 Celebration! There will be food vendors, a children’s bicycle/tricycle parade with prizes, fireworks at dusk, and more! Learn More


Tomball’s July 4th Celebration & Street Festival – This annual All-American, award-winning event festival is filled with entertainment. Fireworks and food, music and more – this red, white and blue celebration is just what you’d expect from small town Texas! Gates open at 6 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. Learn More


Red, Hot & Pool – Each pool will have patriotic decorations, activities and refreshments (while supplies last). The Woodlands Red, Hot & Pool will take place from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. with the 4th of July activities happening between noon and 4 p.m. Grab your swimsuit and we’ll see you there!
