Montgomery County Sheriff: Update on Arrest of Oropesa and Nava
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has no additional information that can be released at this time regarding the arrest of Francisco Oropesa. Oropesa is currently in the San Jacinto County Jail. This investigation is being worked on by San Jacinto County Sheriff’s Office and FBI-Houston.
Additionally, Divimara Nava is currently confined in the Montgomery County Jail, charged with Felony 3 Hindering Apprehension of a Known Felon with a $250,000 bond. The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide/Violent Crimes Unit, Crime Scene Investigations Unit and Texas Rangers executed a search warrant at the home where Oropesa was arrested and recovered multiple pieces of evidence.
No additional details can be released at this time regarding this criminal investigation.
