Noack Foundation funds Scholarship for Conroe ISD Education Foundation
The Noack Foundation, organized by County Commissioner James Noack, his wife Lori Noack, and Evan Besong, is a nonprofit organization providing charitable and educational assistance to children in need in the greater Montgomery County area. For several years, The Noack Foundation has raised funds for children’s holiday gifts, and has also awarded scholarships to area students.
Now, for 2018, The Noack Foundation has announced a plan to fund the largest scholarship awarded to date by the Conroe ISD Education Foundation (“CEF”), which exists to support students and employees in Conroe ISD.
“We were extremely pleased to announce the formation of The Noack Foundation Scholarship for 2018, and the receipt of a check for $2500 to fund it for this year. This generous donation will allow the Conroe ISD Education Foundation to award its largest scholarship to date to one deserving student,” reported Nelda Luce Blair, Chairman of the CEF. “We are very proud to partner with the Noacks in support of the children of our area.”
Applications have already been received for CEF 2018 scholarships, and the process of awarding The Noack Foundation Scholarship is underway. The winner will be formally announced by the end of May.
“The opportunity to obtain a college education is one of the most important gifts we can give to our students,” explained Commissioner James Noack. “The Noack Foundation has seen the good work done by the Conroe ISD Education Foundation, and our board believes this scholarship funding is a great way to provide a valuable educational tool to a student in the Montgomery County Precinct 3 region.”
