Origin Bank announces Expansion and Local Leader joins Commercial Team
Origin Bank (NYSE: OBK) announced Gil Staley has joined their commercial team as Director of Business Development.
For over 20 years, Gil Staley served as the CEO for The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) and was responsible for recruiting new business to The Woodlands area as well as directing business retention. Prior to joining The Woodlands EDP, he was the District Sales Manager in Houston for Delta Airlines. Gil is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a B.B.A degree in Business Management. Gil and his wife, Debra, live in The Woodlands and are proud parents to twin adult sons, Johnathan and Joseph.

As Origin continues to expand its team in The Woodlands, they have also announced the opening of a loan and deposit production office at 9707 Lakeside Blvd, Suite 475 in The Woodlands. The new location will house their commercial team, comprised of Joe Cox, Vishakha Deora, Alan Ramirez, along with Gil Staley. The move will allow Origin to continue to grow and support businesses throughout The Greater Woodlands Area. The retail team led by Karen Mixon will continue to operate out of their current banking center at 2501 Research Forest Drive, Suite A, only steps away from their commercial team’s new offices.
