Stricker, the winning U.S. captain at the 2021 Ryder Cup and a 12-time PGA TOUR champion, continues to be one of the most dominant players on the senior tour. Since joining the circuit in 2017, the 59-year-old has amassed 18 victories, including six wins in 2023. A two-time PGA TOUR Comeback Player-of-the-Year, Stricker owns multiple top five finishes in major championships, highlighted by a runner-up result at the 1998 PGA Championship and a fourth-place finish at the 2016 Open Championship.

“I enjoy the Woodlands and the golf course.  It gets your attention on some of the holes.  The wind is tricky.  Trying to pull the right club is tricky, and you’ve just got to manage your way around here and hit some quality shots,” said Stricker, who finished second in both of his appearances at The Insperity (2023 and 2022). “I came to The Woodlands early on in my career and played here when the Tour was here in the 90s. I’m excited to get back there and get reacquainted with the course.”

Joining Stricker is fan-favorite Miguel Ángel Jiménez, one of the most charismatic and accomplished players in professional golf. A four-time European Ryder Cup team member, the 62-year-old Spaniard has captured 17 PGA TOUR Champions titles, including four victories last season. Known for his flair both on and off the course, Jiménez remains a consistent contender and crowd favorite around the world.

“The goal is always to compete to win,” said Jiménez. “I’m still playing well, I still feel competitive, and I’m enjoying every moment on the golf course. I love this event and look forward to the challenge.”

“Having Steve and Miguel back in The Woodlands are tremendous additions to our field,” said Bryan Naugle, Executive Director, The Insperity. “Steve is one of the most respected players in the game, and Miguel brings an incredible energy to our tournament. He’s not only a proven champion but also one of the most entertaining personalities in golf. Fans in Texas are going to love having both of them back.”
