Suspicious package under investigation at The Woodlands Mall

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Montgomery County Sheriffs Office along with Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office are currently on scene of a suspicious package at the Woodlands Mall. Two stores have been evacuated as a precaution.

The Montgomery County Sheriffs Office has advised the public to avoid the area for now.

Hello Woodlands has received reports and confirmed that Forever 21 is one of the stores that is closed as of 12:24pm CST.

UPDATE 1:27pm: Officers investigating a suspicious backpack.

UPDATE 1:44pm: The suspicious backpack found and investigated at The Woodlands Mall has been determined to not be a threat via Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
