The recognized students are:

  • Luke Azios
  • Julio Fernández Villarreal
  • Donovan Bowers

National Merit Commended Scholars earn exceptionally high scores on the PSAT/NMSQT, typically placing them among the top 3–4% of students nationwide. Although Commended Scholars do not advance in the National Merit Scholarship competition, this distinction recognizes exceptional academic achievement and reflects the students’ dedication to their studies.

“We are incredibly proud of Luke, Julio and Donovan for this outstanding accomplishment,” said Amy Rowe, Director of Upper School Academic & College Advising for The Woodlands Christian Academy. “This recognition reflects their commitment to academic excellence and the hard work they have invested in their education.”

Through rigorous academics and a commitment to developing the whole student, TWCA prepares young men and women to pursue their God-given potential and make a meaningful impact in their communities and beyond.
