At the Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce recognizes loyal members, board members, and team leaders, as well as the recipients of the Community Citizen of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Diplomat of the Year, Top Influencer Under 40 and Chairman’s Award. The presentation of the awards follows The Chamber’s annual report while guests enjoy a seated lunch. Visit with Children’s Book Author Rachel Catchings

Join The Woodlands Children’s Museum for an author visit with Rachel Catchings who will read her book My Little Love. Grand Central Park residents will open their garages to bargain hunters when the annual community-wide garage sale returns 8:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday, Sept. 30. Cars & Coffee for a Cause

Cars & Coffee for a Cause, hosted by The Woodlands Car Club, provides a morning gathering at Market Street to show off special vehicles within the car community the first Sunday of each month from 6:30 – 10:00 am. The club collects coins/change to donate to Market Street’s “Change for Charities” program that benefits nonprofit organizations in Montgomery County. Learn More

Concert for Love

Join Love Heals Youth, Jeff Canada, Daire McLeod, and Payton Riley at Dosey Doe – The Big Barn as they come together using music to heal and raise awareness about the older foster youth that live here in Montgomery County. Concert for Love will raise funds for Love Heals Youth, a local charity that is meeting the grossly neglected needs of the foster youth in our community, through ongoing services for therapy, a mobile clothes closet, welcome home bags, and so much more. Blessing of the Pets

All are welcome to the Blessing of the Pets event at 3:00pm in the parking lot at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 3801 S. Panther Creek Drive across from McCullough High School. Animal lovers may bring pets large and small (crated, leashed or reined in some capacity) for a blessing. Operations Pets Alive will host a pet adoption event and attendees can visit with Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. Learn More

Concert in the Park

Concert in the Park is a popular family tradition of music and fun for all ages, held from 5:30 - 7:30pm at Northshore Park on Sundays. Concert in the Park features local bands playing a variety of favorites from pop and rock to country. Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited. Marriage Ministry will host a community-wide Marriage and Parenting Conference on Saturday, October 21, from 9:30am to 1:30pm at The Woodlands Methodist Church. Worship In The Park (Oct. 21)

The Miracle City Collective, in partnership with Mobilize Montgomery and dozens of local churches and businesses, are proud to present Worship In The Park, a free night of praise and prayer featuring an awesome collection of worship artists from Montgomery County.

Worship in The Park features a free picnic dinner from 5:00 – 6:00pm, followed by a beautiful evening of praise and prayer from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Heritage Park Amphitheater in historic downtown Conroe. This event has been designed to celebrate all that God is doing in Montgomery County and will also feature a Ministry Fair showcasing local non-profits, a Prayer Wall, and a unique moment where we will be lifting up all of our elected officials and pastors serving here in Montgomery County.
