Woodlands Chamber Now Accepting Vendors for Community Job Fair
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Hiring the right employee takes time and is not easy. Posting jobs online, collecting resumes and then calling potential candidates takes hours. The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce can save employers time and money by attending the 2019 Community Job Fair on Tuesday, April 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lone Star College, located off Highway 242 at 3200 College Drive.
The Chamber’s Community Job Fair allows recruiters access to around 175 job seekers in one central location. It’s an easy way to meet candidates face-to-face, promote your job opportunities and introduce your company to a wide variety of professionals. Employers will be able to collect job seekers’ resumes, question their ability and skill sets while getting to know their personality and making sure they are a good fit for the company.
The job fair is open to the public and will feature free workshops, including:
- The Power of Purposeful Networking presented by Paragon Independent Insurance Agencies and I Promote You
- Learning LinkedIn presented by Microsoft
- Effective interviewing strategies presented by Donovan & Watkins
- Interview rooms on site
