March 4-5, 2023 – Montgomery County Home & Outdoor Living Show – The Montgomery County Home & Outdoor Living Show helps you to find home goods, seasonal decor, artisan furniture, products and the right professionals for any type of home improvement or DIY project you have, all under one roof on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5 at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center. March 18, 2023 – Greater Conroe Arts Festival – Hosted by the members of the Greater Conroe Arts Alliance, the Greater Conroe Arts Festival is a FREE and fun event for the whole family featuring a kids art village, live music, art demos, plein air painters, street chalk artists, fine art vendors, food trucks, Main Street market vendors, a Lego build along, and so much more! March 25, 2023 – Night of Hope Gala – Join Love Fosters Hope for a Night of Hope “Fostering Miracles” 2023 on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at The Woodlands Resort. Love Fosters Hope inspires hope and brings healing to children and youth in foster care, who have been abused, abandoned and neglected. The fundraiser allows family members, friends, and community partners to better the lives of Homebound Seniors by supporting Meals on Wheels Montgomery County, whose mission is to deliver nutritious meals, provide transportation, and caring connections to local homebound seniors. March 4, 2023 – The Woodlands Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k – The Woodlands Marathon, Half Marathon & 10k begin at Town Green Park/Lake Robbins Drive at staggered times. March 11, 2023 – Creekwood Fishing Derby – Bring your fishing poles and the Township will provide the bait at the 16th Annual Creekwood Fishing Derby. Prizes awarded for longest, heaviest, and smallest fish caught. T-Shirts are given on first come, first served basis.  The derby is free and sponsored by The Woodlands Professional Firefighters Association. No registration required. All Ages. March 31, 2023 – The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala – The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala honors our Hometown Heroes. Mr. George P. Mitchell inducted the first class of Hometown Heroes in 1999, as part of The Woodlands’ 25th Anniversary celebration. Since this time, 150 individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations have received this honor. Heroes are celebrated at The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala, which will be held oat The Woodlands Waterway Marriott from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Learn More

PET OF THE MONTH

Hello Woodlands, in partnership with Operation Pets Alive, highlights a “Pet of the Month” that features a local dog or cat available for foster and/or adoption in Montgomery County, Texas. Operation Pets Alive is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization striving to elevate Montgomery County to a No-Kill community through innovative programs that raise community awareness, reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters, and increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.
