3rd Annual Into the Woods benefiting The Woodlands Charities

By  |

The Woodlands, TX – Get ready to break out the brooms and jack-o-lanterns because it’s time to start getting those tickets for the third annual Into the Woods Halloween Party on October 19 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel.

All of the proceeds from this ghostly night will go to the Assistance League of Montgomery County to aid with Operation School Bell, which provides school clothes to underprivileged children.

“We’re very happy to be working with the Assistance League. They’re doing such good work in the community,” Director and Co-Founder Amy Milstead said. “We knew we wanted to partner with them as soon as we heard about Operation School Bell. They help so many families in need and it’s just amazing what they’re doing.”

Operation School Bell is a signature program of the National Assistance League and the Assistance League of Montgomery County began the program in 1988. The chapter now serves all six school districts in the county and provides school clothes to over 4,000 children annually.

“We are thrilled to partner with The Woodlands Charities to dress economically disadvantaged children,” Judy Love, President of Assistance League of Montgomery County said. “For every $100 you donate to Woodlands Charities, you will enable us to dress one more student from elementary through high school. Thank you for helping us help those children in Montgomery County.”

Grab your costume and fly in early for a cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m. and let the CHI LCS-NH School of Cosmetology transform your makeup and hair.

“We have a lot of fun activities planned; it’s sure to be a blast,” Director and Co-Founder Nina Marino said. “We’re so excited that the CHI Lone Star students are coming for cocktail hour. They are very talented and they’ll make any costume look amazing.”

Join in on the fun for a night of casino games, fortune tellers and boos and spirits pull. Enter if you dare in the costume contest and dance the night away to the ghoulish beats from the live band.

“I’m excited about the costume contest,” Director and Co-Founder James Stillwell said. “There will be prizes for the winners, and it’s always so fun to see what everyone dressed up as.”

The sponsor levels are Phantom in the Woods ($5,000), Mystery Unveiled ($3,000), Midnight Spell ($1,000) and Secret Society ($500). All sponsorships come with verbal and logo recognition on print material and social media and tickets to the event. “I’m so excited about this year’s Into the Woods Halloween Party as well as working with Montgomery County Assistance League,” Chairwoman Beverly Haak said. “Each year we strive to make the party bigger and better, which allows us to increase the donation to the selected charity; it’s a win-win for everyone.”
