Local bands perform June Summer Serenade concerts at Emory Glen

Local bands will play at Emory Glen for a Summer Serenade concert series, 7 to 10 p.m. Fridays in June.

The free concerts will take place at the community’s Alcove Pavilion, 21500 FM 1488, Magnolia. Concerts begin June 6 with a performance by Nervous Rex followed by Joey Green on June 13. Grammy-recognized Tianna Hall & The Houston Jazz Band will captivate the audience on June 20. The series concludes on June 27 with local favorite Payton Howie. Each concert with be paired with a food truck:

June 6 — Cousins Maine Lobster

June 13 — Homies HTX

June 20 — Peppas HTX

June 27 — Southern Taste Creole

The first 30 RSVPs to check in each week receive a VIP table, a $10 food truck ticket, a complimentary bottle of wine and two wine glasses. All attendees (21 and over) will receive two complimentary drink tickets.
