The Woodlands Car Club celebrates 25 Years of Community, Charity, and Car Culture
Over the past quarter century, car enthusiasts in The Woodlands have gathered to share their passion for cars and strengthen the community through charitable giving. The Woodlands Car Club will mark this milestone with a season of special events that reflect its longstanding commitment to charity and community involvement. Since 2001, the club has contributed more than $175,000 to over 100 nonprofit organizations across Montgomery County.
Established in March 2001 by a small group of local car lovers, the club has grown into a familiar part of Montgomery County’s community landscape. What began as a simple idea to bring people together through cars evolved into one of the club’s most defining missions —Using Our Cars to Give Back to Our Community, helping make a positive impact on everything TWCC does. The charity event, The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause, was the first of its kind in the area, established in March of 2009.
“Looking back at the early days, our goal was to create a place where people could enjoy their passion for cars while giving something meaningful to the community,” said Dana Pritchard, President of The Woodlands Car Club and one of the founding members. “Seeing how the club has grown over 25 years is something I am truly proud of.”
This anniversary season will honor the individuals who helped establish the club and set its mission of friendship, service and a shared love of cars. To celebrate the silver anniversary, the club will host three gatherings this fall for longtime supporters, community partners and the charities the organization has supported over the years. The season will begin with a private tour of the Gullo Family Classic Car Museum in Magnolia, which features the Gullo family’s private car collection. In recognition of the anniversary, attendees will be invited to contribute to the Gullo Christmas for Kids Charitable Foundation, a tradition that has been part of several past celebrations.
Additional events will be announced for the fall. The anniversary season will conclude on Sunday, December 6 with The Woodlands Cars & Coffee for a Cause, the final event of the year. Charitable check presentations will be made to the nonprofit organizations supported in 2026, and the annual toy drive will be held. The event is free and open to the community.
Donations from local auto enthusiasts, participants and sponsorships go towards contributions to multiple charities throughout the year and help support organizations that share TWCC’s mission of giving back. The spotlight charity for 2026 is The Loved Ones Left Behind, (TLOLB), a 501c3 non-profit organization that helps families who have lost a parent to suicide.
