Beautification Project to Enhance Five Gateways in The Woodlands® Town Center
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH) continues its commitment to the environment and sustainability in The Woodlands® with a beautification and improvement project at multiple entrances to The Woodlands Town Center in collaboration with Montgomery County Precinct 3, The Woodlands Township, and Town Center Owners Association (TCOA). Five of The Woodlands Town Center gateways will undergo improvements to their landscaping, signage, and right-of ways.

The five areas include Six Pines Drive at Woodlands Parkway; Woodloch Forest Drive at Woodlands Parkway; Timberloch Place at the I-45 Frontage Road; Lake Woodlands Drive median, east of the Lake Woodlands bridge (at the Mirage II sculpture); and the Six Pines Drive median at Research Forest Drive (at the Man’s Struggle for a Better Environment sculpture).
The landscaping efforts will establish a distinct look marking each passageway as a clear corridor to the Town Center by increasing and supplementing planting to create a “red carpet” effect. The current plantings will be enhanced and shaped for more appealing access. The landscape design will have a focus on maximizing views of signage and sculptures while camouflaging utilities. Upgrades will ensure proper drainage and protection against soil erosion and infrastructure disruptions.
LED lights will add ambiance to the signage with LED lighting also displayed at the Mirage II and Man’s Struggle for a Better Environment sculptures. Additional text will be added to the signage on Woodloch Forest Drive at Woodlands Parkway to further identify its location.
An expected completion date of these projects is the first quarter 2024.
