October 7, 2023 – Halloween Pickleball Tournament – The Halloween Pickleball Tournament is a friendly pickleball tournament with a Halloween theme. October 7, 2023 – Tomball Spooktacular – Grab the family and your Halloween costumes and join the City of Tomball at Spooktacular to kick off Halloween fun at Tomball Depot Plaza! There will be games, bounce houses, face painters, food, music, and a pumpkin photo booth. When dusk approaches the Depot will be filled with witches to watch Hocus Pocus. October 20, 2023 – Hocus Pocus Pops – Around here, Hocus Pocus Pops might be an even bigger deal than Halloween itself! There’s all the trick-or-treating and kiddos in costumes and ghastly guys and ghouls…plus the haunting Houston Symphony in all its sinister splendor. Expect creepy classics like character pictures, the Halloween Express and, of course, the Goblin Parade to make their return. October 21, 2023 – Niftee 50ees Trunk or Treat + Monster Classic Cruise In – The 2023 Niftee 50ees Trunk or Treat + Monster Classic Cruise In is a a ghoulishly good time celebrating the classics! Bring your classic out, decorate for Halloween, and welcome the little ghosts and goblins to our classic car community. If you plan to come out with a classic please arrive between 3pm and 5pm to set up and bring goodies for upwards of 500 littles goblins. October 23-31 2023 – Storybook Pumpkin Contest – Join the Tomball Community Library in October for the return of the Storybook Pumpkin Contest! Registration for this event begins on Monday, October 9 and is open to families of school-age children. Have fun at home and decorate a pumpkin as a favorite character from a book. Drop-off for entries in the library’s Pumpkin Patch is October 23 & 24. Pumpkins will be displayed in the Pumpkin Patch until October 31 when they will be judged. Prizes will be awarded in several categories! Foam/fake pumpkins recommended, but real pumpkins will be accepted without carving. Contest details will be provided upon registration. October 27, 2023 – Frights, Heights & Bites – Frights, Heights & Bites is a two-hour twilight climb at Texas TreeVentures with a Halloween twist! The aerial course will feature spooky special effects, frights and fun! Dozens of ghouls and furry monsters (adoptable homeless pets of Operation Pets Alive!) will be in attendance to scare you out of your senses with mega sweetness and puppy kisses! October 28, 2023 – Trunk-Or-Treat at FMC – Join First Methodist Conroe Church for an evening of costumes, trick-or-treating, and fun! Cars will be decorated and parked in the main parking lot of the church. Children will trick-or-treat from trunk to trunk. There will be a contest for the best-decorated trunk, hot dogs, face-painting, balloon artists, games, and of course lots and lots of candy! November 4, 2023 – Pumpkin Smash – The Woodlands Township’s Pumpkin Smash is a FREE and FUN event that provides a unique opportunity for residents to dispose of their Halloween pumpkins. Catapult it and watch it fly, grab a baseball bat and smash it to pieces or watch it explode on impact from a 30’ drop. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to monitor safety and ensure fun is had by all participants. Ghoulish pumpkin remains will give new life as nutrient-rich compost instead of being buried in the landfill. Discover how easy it is to start composting in your own backyard.
