Market Street Announces “The Sing-Off” in Central Park
THE WOODLANDS, TX – It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas! Local high school groups will perform festive holiday numbers at Market Street’s The Sing-Off competition on Thursday, December 7th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in Central Park.
Emcee Courtney Zavala will join The Sing-Off judges as participating groups sing it out for a chance to be named The Sing-Off Winner. Participating judges include Jenny Taylor with Market Street and Sarah Kelly with the Sarah Kelly Music School.
Groups participating in the competition include Magnolia High School, Lake Creek High School, Klein Collins High School, Montgomery High School, and Tomball Memorial High School. The first round will include holiday-themed performances from all participating groups, with only two groups will moving ahead to the next round of the competition. The final round of competition will include performances from the two finalists, followed by the naming of The Sing-Off Champion and a $1,000 gift to the winning team.
Additionally, Sarah Kelly is offering the winning team a one-hour songwriting workshop to further encourage their potential. Spectators may bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the performances and are encouraged to enjoy hot cocoa and Christmas cotton candy while they enjoy the show.
