Montgomery County Restaurants Participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks
THE WOODLANDS, TX – Houston Restaurant Weeks provides diners an opportunity to give back while dining out. The month-long event runs from from August 1 through September 2, 2019, providing Montgomery County food pantries with proceeds from each participating restaurant’s brunches, lunches, and dinners. Funds raised from Montgomery County restaurants will be earmarked for donation to the Montgomery County Food Bank.
As of July 24, the following restaurants are participating in Houston Restaurant Weeks. Restaurants will continue to be added until August 1.

Houston Restaurant Weeks is planned by volunteers so that participating restaurants can donate 100% of the funds raised. The month long dining extravaganza features specially-priced lunches, brunches and dinners at restaurants located in Harris, Galveston and Montgomery counties. One hundred percent of the donations raised from restaurants in these counties will go directly to their local area food banks. Learn more about this year’s event here.
Participating restaurants make donations based upon how many brunches, lunches and dinners they sell during the event. Diners are not solicited for donations, instead the restaurant makes the donation. For every $20 spent on brunch or lunch, each restaurant donates enough money to provide 9 meals. For every $35 to $45 spent on dinner, each restaurant donates enough money to provide 15 to 20 meals, respectively.

To participate in Houston Restaurant Weeks, reservations are generally not required. Diners may check the restaurant’s menu page to see if reservations are required, and if so, make sure to let the restaurant know to use the Houston Restaurant Weeks special menu. Then simply pay the check at the end of the meal and the restaurant will make the donation. If using OpenTable.com to make a reservation, please write “Request HRW Menu” in the comments field. Please call or visit the web site of your chosen restaurant(s) to verify days of the week for meal service times for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Houston Restaurant Weeks was established in 2003 by Cleverley Stone. Stone is host of “The Cleverley Show,” a food talk radio program on CBS Sports Radio 650 /KIKK-AM in Houston, Texas. Her program is the longest running show on CBS 650 AM, celebrating its 11th year at in January 2018.
