SCI://TECH Expo Day

Education for Tomorrow Alliance’s SCI://TECH Expo Day features free family-friendly events open to the public. The Huntsman Elementary Science Festival is a highlight of SCI://TECH. Students in grades K – fourth grade teach others through hands-on science experiments. “Little Black Girl Joy” Opening Reception

Houston artist Lauren Luna will present her solo show entitled “Little Black Girl Joy” during an opening reception to be held on February 10th from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Ardest Gallery. Join Commissioner Noack for the largest recycling and hazardous waste collection event in Montgomery County. Many of the items that normally require a disposal fee will be accepted free of charge on this day only, so don’t miss out on your chance to dispose of these materials in a safe, responsible manner without having to worry about the cost. Precinct 3 Recycling Facility located at 1122 Pruitt Road Spring, Texas 77380. The event is open to all residents of Montgomery County. Proof of residency will be required before any items can be unloaded from your vehicle, so please have your documentation (valid driver’s license, current utility bill, tax bill, copy of lease/closing papers) ready before arriving on-site. 10th Annual Community Tree Planting

The Woodlands Township staff will work side-by-side with volunteers to help reforest recently cleared areas of Falconwing Park. Staff have removed non-native vines and vegetation from multiple areas throughout the park to be replanted with native trees and shrubs to create habitat for pollinators and native wildlife.
