YMCA Run Thru the Woods Tickets on Sale

Tickets are on sale now for the 34th Annual YMCA Run Thru the Woods Presented by Huntsman on Thanksgiving Morning, Thursday, November 23, 2023! Holiday Helpings Food Drive (Nov. 1 – Dec. 31)

Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual holiday food and funds drive, Holiday Helpings (formerly Stock the Sleigh), will run from November 1 until December 31. Montgomery County residents, businesses, civic organizations, and schools are encouraged to participate and help the Food Bank fight hunger this holiday season. There are many ways to help! Author Visit with Erin Ciaravino

Children’s book author Erin Ciaravino will read her book Dinosaurs Like Bananas at The Woodlands Children’s Museum at 11:00am. After the reading, there will be a meet-and-greet, where she will be selling her books until 12:15pm. Her book tells the story of a little boy named Logan, wishing for a day of fun, hears a roar from underneath his bed, which turns out to be a new dinosaur friend. Stomp, chomp and roar into Children’s Festival November 11-12! Join The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion for an epic two-day dinosaur adventure featuring Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo Live on the Main Stage plus hands-on activities, toddler fun, art projects, active adventures, and SO much more! Learn more

The Woodlands Township Veterans Day Tribute

Join the Mighty Oaks Foundation for food, entertainment, and more on Veterans Day! The 22 for 22 Veterans Day Run includes a 5K, 10K, and marathon. 2nd Saturday at the Depot: The Grinch

The last 2nd Saturday event will feature the movie The Grinch, a movie about a grumpy Grinch who plots to ruin Christmas for everyone in Whoville. The movie starts at dusk (about 5:30pm) but get there early for some kid-friendly activities, a scavenger hunt (while supplies last), and a surprise visit from a grumpy green character. Grab lawn chairs, blankets and your favorite snacks and head to the Tomball Depot Plaza for family fun from 3:00-7:00pm. Snow cones and hot chocolate will be available for sale. Old Town Spring Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join Old Town Spring at the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony to ring in the the 2023 Home for the Holidays season. Enjoy some cookies, punch and music as you wait for Santa to arrive at dusk to light the Christmas tree. Old Town Spring merchants have donated a variety of gifts that will be raffled off during the evening and Santa will be available for pictures after the countdown to the tree lighting. Nannies of The Woodlands (NOW) will serve as a sponsor for the Ethel Hedgemon Lyle Foundation of Texas’s Cookies & Cocoa Holiday Bazaar at Dekaney High School. The Holiday Bazaar will be a spectacular indoor holiday market event where friends and family can have fun while making the most of the holiday season. All are invited to this exciting event to kick off the holiday shopping season with vendor displays throughout the 10,000 sq. ft. atrium. Holly Jolly Jingle (Nov. 30)

What better way to kick off the holiday season than with Holly Jolly Jingle Thursday, November 30! It’s the most wonderful time of the year as the Main Stage showcases performances of familiar holiday medleys by hundreds of Conroe ISD student musicians. Concertgoers will be walking in a winter wonderland of activities when the gates open with a holiday art project, photos with Santa Claus and other holiday characters and pre-concert performances by local high school orchestras and choirs. All aboard for a ride on the Candy Cane Express for a merry good time starting at 5:30 p.m. in the Gold Lot. Tickets are not required for this free event which is generously sponsored by KPMG, LLC.
