Triumphant Victory: TWMS Golf Team clinches District Championship
On April 4, 2024, The Woodlands Methodist School (TWMS) golf team showcased their prowess at the highly anticipated District Golf Tournament held at the prestigious Gleannloch Golf Course. Led by the stellar performances of Pablo Mora, Dax Allred, Henry Rudloff, Jake Mahlmann, Beau McKean, Nixon Ryan, Cameron Byrd, and Lincoln Nguyen, the team soared to victory, clinching the Conference Championship in a remarkable fashion.
With a collective effort, the team secured an impressive total score of 182, outshining formidable opponents including a strong contingent from TWCA. Notably, Pablo Mora and Dax Allred showcased their individual excellence by clinching positions in the top five, thereby earning well-deserved medalist honors for their outstanding performances. Adding to the glory, Melissa Carlson displayed exceptional skill, securing a spot in the top five among the female competitors and claiming her rightful place as a medalist.
