June 1 – August 6 – Sunny Dayz Camps – The Woodlands Township will host Sunny Dayz Camps with fun activities for ages 6 to 16 at two locations this summer, The Recreation Center at Bear Branch Park & The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park, from June 1 to August 6! June – Classes and Programs at Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center – Canopy is open for classes and programs! Canopy is a cancer survivorship on the campus of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. Canopy is open to men and women, no matter where you were treated, and for any kind of cancer. If your life has been impacted, whether you were the patient or the caregiver, you have a safe haven at Canopy. Learn More

  • June 3 & 17 – Drama Therapy – Join Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center for Drama Therapy on the 1st and 3rd Thursday at 1 p.m.! Drama therapy applies techniques from theatre to the process of psychotherapeutic healing. The focus in drama therapy is helping individuals grow and heal by taking on and practicing new roles, by creating new stories through action, and by rehearsing new behaviors which can later be implemented in real life. Learn More
  • June 24 – Nest for Newbies – Join Canopy Cancer Survivorship Center for Nest for Newbies on June 24 at 12 p.m. This is a group for those newly diagnosed with cancer, and a different topic will be covered each month. Friday–Sunday – Local Farmer’s Markets – Visit a local farmer’s market in Montgomery County! Learn more about The Woodlands Farmer’s Market, Tomball Farmer’s Market, Auburn Lakes Artisan Market, Rayford Sunday Market, Shenandoah Farmers Market, and more on the Hello Woodlands Calendar. Learn More

June 3 – 28 – Montgomery County Food Bank Mobile Markets – Mobile Markets are temporary drive thru distribution centers where pre-packaged bags of groceries will be provided to Montgomery County residents in need, while supplies last. Residents can drive up to the Mobile Market, stay in their car, and MCFB’s partner agencies and trained volunteers will load the groceries safely into their car. View dates and locations

June 3 – Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting – Thirsty for something new? Wine and Food Week’s Nach-Yo Ordinary Tequila Tasting is your all-inclusive ticket to the craft tequila kingdom, bringing in more than 40 tequilas, mezcals, lively music, great eats, gourmet nacho bar, educators for the Tequila Forum Seminar and Tasting, cigar patio and amazing door prizes. The event is Thursday, June 3rd at The Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course with tickets at only $45 per person, its “nacho” something you can do every day. Learn More

June 3 – First Thursday Free Concert Series – Come out and relax to a variety of bands playing in the First Thursday free concert series at Heritage Park in Conroe. Bring your chairs and blankets. Food trucks onsite. Food and beverages may be brought in. No glass containers. Band will start at 7:00 p.m. Come early and check out the Conroe Market from 6-8:30pm. Learn More

June 4 – iNaturalist Online Training – Register for the free online training! iNaturalist is a powerful tool to not only learn what is around you, but to contribute to conservation efforts. Texas Nature Trackers Biologist Craig Hensley will provide a thorough introduction to the iNaturalist app. You’ll learn how to use it for yourself and for assisting with BioBlitzes, including the upcoming The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department BioBlitz, June 21-27. June 4 – Tomball German Festival – Enjoy the family-friendly ambience – Gemütlichkeit – of the Tomball German Festival’s unique music/street festival with three stages of live music and an open-air market along with antique shops in the old town Tomball area on June 4 – 6. Learn More

June 5 – Watershed Project: Aquatics Invasives Workshop – Attend this online class at 9am to learn about aquatic invasive plants, how to manage those species by hand removal and how to report invasives observations into the Texas invasive Species Institute database. This event is presented by The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department and sponsored by The Texas Invasive Species Institute at Sam Houston State University, Woodlands Water Agency, The Woodlands GREEN, and HEB. June 5 – Paddle with your Pup – Bring your best friend and join The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at Lakes Edge Boat house at 10am to learn about water safety and crime prevention. Win prizes and treats. Life jackets are available for use at no cost upon request. Learn More

June 5, 12, 19, 27 – Public Safety Open House Events – Experience the lights and sirens of public safety equipment at Fire Stations around The Woodlands. Explore a fire truck, police patrol vehicle and learn more about National Night Out! Food and refreshments will be provided. Learn More

June 5 – Texas Taco, Tequila and Music Festival – Enjoy delicious tacos, top shelf tequila, and Texas music at the Texas Taco, Tequila and Music Festival in Conroe at the Heritage Place Amphitheater on Saturday, June 5 from 12 to 10pm. A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will benefit local nonprofit organization Angel Reach. Learn More

June 5, 12, 19, 26 – Waterway Nights – Summer Concert Series – Enjoy live music by local and regional performers in the picturesque setting of Waterway Square at Waterway Nights from 6:30 to 8:30pm. Taking place in the spring and summer, Waterway Nights makes for an eventful night out in The Woodlands Town Center. Learn More

June 6 – Cars and Coffee for a Cause – Those who like their morning coffee with a side of fast cars will be pleased to know that The Woodlands Car Club is bringing its monthly Cars & Coffee for a Cause back to Market Street the first Sunday of each month. Learn More

June 6 – The Texas Marine Medal of Honor Fund’s 3rd Annual Marksmanship Challenge – The event starts at 5pm and will feature US Marine expert pistol shooters, a catered dinner, a raffle you don’t want to miss, and prizes will be awarded. Proceeds will benefit Combined Arms and The Texas Marine Medal of Honor Fund. Learn More

June 7 – August 6 – The Woodlands Children’s Museum’s Summer Workshops – Summer workshops June 7th-August 6th. Classes are led by experienced educators in a spacious, well-supervised environment. From art to science to theater to robotics, children ages 4-10 can attend any of our individual 9 weeks of workshops. Learn More

June 14 – The Woodlands Photography Club Annual Contest Winners Exhibition – The Woodlands Photography Club Annual Contest Winners Exhibition & Open House will be held on June 14 where the winners of the 2020 Woodlands Photography Club Contest will be on Display at the Glade Cultural Center located at 2000 Woodlands Parkway The Woodlands, TX 77380. Members, Guests and Visitors are all welcome to enjoy Light Libations and Beautiful Photography on Monday, June 14, 2021 from 5:30-9 pm. Learn More

June 17 & 24 – Rock the Row Summer Concert Series – Experience Hughes Landing on scenic Lake Woodlands with live music Thursday evenings! Rock the Row features local and regional bands playing a variety of favorites from pop and rock to country during the summer and fall. Rock the Row at the Hughes Landing Band Shell takes place on Thursdays this summer from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m on June 17. Learn More

June 17 – Herman’s Hermits with Peter Noone – Relax and enjoy the show with dinner and live music all in one at Dosey Doe. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Show starts at 8:30 p.m. Kitchen is open from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. Ticket price includes three course meal. Learn More

June 18 – “Contagious Grace” Gala benefitting Society of Samaritans – The gala will be held Friday, June 18, 2021 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Magnolia Event Center. The event benefits Society of Samaritans, a local organization providing food, clothes, household items, utility payments and emergency rent/mortgage payments preventing eviction, and medication for families and the homeless in the Magnolia area. June 19 – Honky Tonk Chili Challenge – Relive the days of old style honky tonkin’ stirred into a pot full of the official food of Texas. It’s Tomball’s annual Honky Tonk Chili Challenge, an afternoon filled with tunes from the days of Patsy Cline and Hank Williams, and a CASI sanctioned chili cook-off with teams from across the state. June 19 – Magical Dads Day – Combining magic and the love of dads, this event is a unique way for children and families to celebrate Father’s Day from 10am to 2pm at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Celebrate the magic of dads with us while sharing a magical up close and personal experience with entertainment presented by a variety of talented local magicians and creating a few great Father’s Day art projects that make great gifts!  Don’t miss a special reading of “This Book Is Magic” by Ashley Evanson at 11am. Learn More

June 19 – Father’s Day at ReStore Giveaway Event – Stay tuned for more information about this special event on June 19 hosted by Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price. Habitat for Humanity ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally and around the world. June 19 – A Blues Night with Diunna Greenleaf – Join Glade Arts Foundation on June 19 for a blues night with Diunna Greenleaf, a three time Blues Music Award winner including the Koko Taylor Award (traditional blues female) and the Best New Artist Award. Happy Hour Specials are from 5:30-8pm, Concert starts at 8pm. Also enjoy an a la carte menu, full table service, Sommelier curated wine list, and hand-crafted cocktails. Learn More

June 20 – Happy Father’s Day!

June 21 – 25 – Water Safety Week – Learn about safety in and around the water at community pools around The woodlands. Meet Josh the Otter and learn how he is safe around water. Join in the fun on safety activities, giveaways and information. Admission to the pool is free during event time only. Learn More

June 21 – 27 – The Woodlands Township Virtual BioBlitz – The Township is hosting a week-long “BioBlitz”– a community effort to identify as many species as possible during National Pollinator Week. This effort provides an informal, fun opportunity for the public to learn together and share their enthusiasm for nature. And the information collected contributes to a genuine scientific survey. Anyone can participate regardless of age or knowledge level. Learn More

June 24 & 26 – Fairy Day – Come join the celebration and wear your best fairy outfits on Thursday, June 24th, and Saturday, June 26th 10am-2pm at The Woodlands Children’s Museum. Creative hands-on special fairy art projects and Tinker Bell meet and greets at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm & 1:30pm. Reading of “Backyard Fairies” by Phoebe Wahl on stage with Ms. Jan at 11am. June 25 – YMCA Blood Drive at Branch Crossing Y – The Blood Donor Coach will be at the Branch Crossing YMCA, 8100 Ashlane Way in The Woodlands, from 9am to 1:30pm. FREE Pancake Offer from I-HOP and Covid Antibody Test for all donors. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ups welcomed. Make an appointment

June 26 – Community Assistance Center Drive-Thru Food Pantry – Community Assistance Center will be distributing pre-packaged bags of groceries at our regularly scheduled Saturday Market, available for Montgomery County residents in need. Distribution will start around 8am and groceries are available while supplies last. The Saturday markets serve approximately 200 families. Learn More

June 27 – An Evening with Chicago and Their Greatest Hits – The Chicago show at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion has been rescheduled to June 27, 2021. Guests who want to attend the new event date should hold on to their tickets. More information including ticket pricing, show updates and venue policies can be found on The Pavilion website.
