Where should I park? Red, Hot & Blue Festival Parking and Transportation in The Woodlands
The Woodlands Township encourages attendees of the annual Red, Hot and Blue Festival to plan ahead and review parking and transportation options prior to the event. Due to anticipated attendance, parking in Town Center and surrounding areas will be limited.
Red, Hot & Blue Festival Parking
Paid, covered parking will be available at:
- 24 Waterway Parking Garage (Fountains Plaza and Lake Robbins Drive)
- Waterway Square Parking Garage (between Fountains Plaza and Woodloch Court)
- Surface lot at the corner of Waterway Avenue and Timberloch Place
Limited free curbside parking is available along:
- Lake Robbins Drive
- Waterway Avenue
- Waterway Square Place
- Timberloch Place
Limited, additional covered parking is available at:
- Town Center Parking Garage (2005 Lake Robbins Drive)
- Whole Foods Parking Garage in Hughes Landing
Additional parking will also be available in the orange, blue, yellow and white lots along Timberloch Place and Grogan’s Mill Road, generously provided by Timberloch, Inc. Parking is also available at 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.
Note: Parking is strictly prohibited along Lakeside Boulevard, Lake Woodlands Drive and Market Street. Vehicles in these areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.
Accessible Parking
Designated accessible parking will be available at the following locations:
- Green Lot (2002 Timberloch Place)
- The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park (6055 Creekside Forest Drive)
- 9320 Lakeside Boulevard
- Additional locations throughout Town Center, including garages and street-level spaces (fees may vary)
A valid accessible placard or plate is required for all accessible parking areas.
Creekside Park Parking Options
Attendees parking in the Village of Creekside Park may use the following locations:
- Creekside Forest Elementary School
- Risen Church
- The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park
- Rob Fleming Aquatic Center
Free Shuttle Service
A free shuttle service will operate from Research Forest Park and Ride (3900 Marsico Place) to The Woodlands Town Center to ease congestion and support event access. Shuttle service will run approximately every 20 minutes with the first departure at 5 p.m. The final inbound departure will be at 8:45 p.m. and return service ends at 11 p.m. The Park and Ride gates will close at 1 a.m. and reopen at 7 a.m. on Saturday, July 5.
All shuttles are ADA-compliant. Strollers, bikes and coolers are allowed in under-bus compartments, as space allows. Pets are not permitted. For shuttle emergencies, please contact 281-227-8264 (24-hour dispatch).
Shuttle Stop Locations:
- Northshore Park / Hughes Landing: Trolley gate entrance on Lake Front Circle (0.5-mile walk to Northshore Park)
- Town Green Park: Eastbound Lake Robbins Drive near park entrance; return pickup on westbound Lake Robbins near H-E-B
- Waterway Square: Eastbound Lake Robbins Drive at Fountains Plaza
Town Center Trolleys
In addition to the shuttle service, The Woodlands Town Center Trolleys will be available for attendees to navigate the Town Center area. Trolleys are free to ride and offer a convenient way to access festival locations throughout the evening. View the July 4 trolley map for trolley stop locations.
