“As folks are waking up and getting ready head off to work and school we like to remind drivers to Turn Around Don’t Drown. Allow extra time to get to work in the rain and take alternative routes should you encounter water over roadways.

Parts of the Northwester portion of the county received over 7+ inches of rainfall overnight and flash flooding will be likely in those areas. If you live south of HWY 105 you have not seen more than an inch of rain and roadways are mostly clear.

Again drive safely and stay weather alert today as additional rainfall is in the forecast.”
