Montgomery County Heart Walk

The Montgomery County Heart Walk has always been a great way to get moving while socializing with friends, family and co-workers leading up to and on the day of event. But it’s so much more than a walk. Walking in the Heart Walk boosts your heart health AND mental health while helping millions of others at the same time. Alden Bridge Village Association’s Fall Festival

The annual Alden Bridge Village Association Fall Festival will feature food from Chick-fil-A, snacks from HEB, drinks from Kroger, ice cream, and snow cones. There will be a DJ, bounce houses, a bubble master, face painters & balloon twisters, a petting zoo, a rock wall, carnival games, a photo booth, a visit from The Woodlands Fire Department, as well as The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, including a special visit from a K-9 Unit! The free event is open to the entire community. Proceeds from participating organization’s booth rentals fund the ABVA scholarship fund. Doodles & Donuts: Faux Pumpkin Workshop with Jeff Lung

Join Ardest Gallery for a special Fall inspired Saturday morning “Donuts and Doodles” with Jeff Lung at 10:00am. Participants will create a unique piece of art combining popular Fall imagery & doodles! What will you create? A pumpkin, Fall leaves, an acorn, sunflower or an image of your own creation? All supplies included, and participants will leave with a workbook full of ideas to keep the inspiration going at home. $55/person. The Woodlands Township’s Fall Sweep (Oct. 29-Nov. 4)

Help keep The Woodlands looking clean and green. Join The Woodlands Township’s Fall Sweep, a community-wide litter cleanup week! Fall Sweep is a self-guided weeklong volunteer opportunity for individuals and family groups to target litter along pathways, waterways, and natural areas. No registration is required. Bags, gloves, and trash grabbers are available for loan from the Environmental Services Office at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive. Learn More

Pumpkin Smash

Join The Woodlands Township Environmental Services Department for the 2nd annual Pumpkin Smash from 3:00–6:00pm at the Sterling Ridge Park & Ride. This FREE and FUN event provides a unique opportunity for residents to dispose of their Halloween pumpkins. Catapult it and watch it fly, grab a baseball bat and smash it to pieces or watch it explode on impact from a 30’ drop. Staff and volunteers will be on hand to monitor safety and ensure fun is had by all participants. Ghoulish pumpkin remains will give new life as nutrient-rich compost instead of being buried in the landfill. Local experts will be on hand to answer questions and share the upcoming free compost class schedule. Learn More

Water Lantern Festival

The popular Water Lantern Festival makes a sparkling return to City Place’s waterfront from 3:30-7:30pm. The memorable experience centers around the opportunity for guests to design LED candle-lit lanterns – adorning them with messages of love, hope, healing and peace – and sending them off to float alongside thousands of others for a dazzling nighttime display. While free to attend with food trucks, games, activities, vendors and music, tickets are required for the lanterns. Learn More

Corgi Races at Kirby Ice House

Calling all dog lovers to the cutest race around! Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands will be hosting their beloved Corgi Race benefiting BARC, starting at noon! Grab some friends and sip on a Kirby Fresca while these adorable pups waddle their way across the finish line! The 35th Annual Woodlands Wildflower Festival

The annual Woodlands Wildflower Festival is a free community event, sponsored by The Woodlands Lions Club, with free wildflower seed packets, a seed planting area, master gardener advice, children’s crafts, face painting, balloon art, a bouncy castle, food trucks, vendors, and more. Event proceeds go back into the community through scholarships, vision services for needy, sponsoring children with special challenges to summer camp, local food banks, and other charitable services. Creekside Campout (Nov. 4-5)

Relive the simple life with a fun family campout! Activities include archery, kayaking, crafts, outdoor movie, night hikes, games, campfire, and s’mores. Tents will be on the field at the Rob Fleming Park Recreation Center, and activities will be held throughout the park in the amphitheater, trails, and open space. The City of Tomball celebrates National Railroad Month every November at the annual Depot Day Fall Fest celebration. This one-day event features Lionel O-scale, Z-scale and G-scale model railroads mixed with classic fall fair attractions to the tunes of good old-fashioned country music and more. LLS Light The Night Event

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Texas Gulf Coast Region will celebrate its 2023 Light The Night® event at Town Green Park from 6:00-9:30pm. Communities across North America will join together at Light The Night carrying illuminated lanterns to take steps to end cancer – white for survivors, red for supporters, and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. The funds raised through Light The Night are used to support LLS’s mission priorities: Research, Education & Support, and Policy & Advocacy. Through campaigns like Light The Night, LLS has invested more than $1.6 billion since its inception in research to advance breakthrough therapies. Learn More

Cars & Coffee for a Cause, hosted by The Woodlands Car Club, provides a morning gathering at Market Street to show off special vehicles within the car community the first Sunday of each month from 6:30–10:00am. Concertgoers will be walking in a winter wonderland of activities when the gates open with a holiday art project, photos with Santa Claus and other holiday characters and pre-concert performances by local high school orchestras and choirs.
